Frankie's Downtown
The Space

The logo of Frankie's Downtown, a restaurant with a very different feel from the last one I photographed.

Uncovered light bulbs adorn a very industrial looking address sign.

Frankie's Downtown is home to many pool tables and dart boards, giving the customers a place to have fun.

In addition to pool tables, there are some arcade games at the front of the restaurant.

Frankie's is covered in photographs of Dallas, new and old.

Another piece of Dallas artwork hangs on the wall of Frankie's

Frankie's keeps an industrial/downtown feel with its uncovered bulbs, steel beams, and dim lighting

The kitchen at Frankie's is smaller than the one at Jasper's, but just as busy.
Photographs showing several well known Dallas landmarks.

Beneath the main eating floor of Frankie's is the Underground. Styled like a Prohibition-Era Speak-Easy, the Underground has a full bar, posh couches, pool tables, and dart boards.

The walls of the Underground are covered in photographs during Prohibition

The bar in the Underground is as well equipped as the one above, ready for a night time crowd.

The Underground keeps the lighting of the upstairs part with the uncovered orange bulbs.

To add to it's Prohibition era feel, the Underground is decorated with images concerning the period.

Dart boards as well as pool tables are kept in the Underground for the night time crowd.

In addition to all of the Prohibition and Dallas art, there is some original art made by Frankie's that sits by the stairs.
The People and Food

Chips are prepared for the lunch time crowd.

Onions, peppers, carrots, and celery are all cut up for use in salads and sandwiches.

A waitress caters to two construction workers during their lunch break.
Carrots are grated up for use in one of the lunch salads.

Burger meat is prepared on the grill top.

Construction workers come to Frankie's for lunch from their work on buildings in Downtown.

An appataiser of nachos sits in the kitchen, ready to be taken out.

A lunch salad is topped by large tomatoes, thin slabs of Parmesan, and a handful of croutons.
