To celebrate the independence of our great country, the cities of Allen and Plano put on a firework show. These fireworks can be seen from all around and hundreds of people gather to watch them. These photos were taken from McCall Elementary School right on the border of Allen and Plano. Families from all over parked at the school and set up chairs and blankets on the muddy hills surrounding the school. Soon explosions filled the air, and continued on for several minutes. This all lead up to a finale filled with bright colors and cheers from the spectators. The fireworks for the show were launched from Oak Point Nature Preserve nearby. This was one of many firework shows all over Collin County.
